Service EXTRAORDINARY! Food quality OUTSTANDING! We are locals and come here regularly, and consistently find the experience fantastic. Dawn is the consummate host and always makes you feel valued and welcome. Her staff and the pastry chef, Julie, are the gold standard. Now with the soft opening of Hawaiian Shave Ice, my experience is complete. The natural flavors are unique and innovative. I highly recommend this gem.

Unbelievable. World class coffee, Gordon Ramsey's chef (for real!), beautiful space. Pastries on site baked (or are they from heaven?) This is truly a destination place. By the way, Dawn Pinaud is literally a legend in specialty coffee and has been involved in growing some of the biggest coffee chains in the world.

We flew into Whidbey Airpark to grab brunch here today- love that they’re open on Sundays as that always happens to be the day we think to fly for coffee or breakfast. I had the cheesy waffles while my husband had the chimichurri eggs. Both were good but the waffles are quite chewy since it’s a gluten free batter, otherwise the flavor was great. Will happily fly in again sometime

This place is fantastic. It feels very private, even when things are busy. The parking can be a bit crowded, but if you take advantage of Mukilteo Coffee Roasters’ additional parking, there’s plenty of space. The food is incredible from the diner fare, to the coffee, to the pastries; highly recommend a visit. Outside seating is available and plenty of folks bring their dogs while dining outside. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcome, and you can taste and feel the passion and pride in their work.

So nice to have a stellar bakery and coffee spot in this location again! I was heartbroken when Seabiscuit closed, but Coffee at Dawn has saved the day. The pastries are homey and masterfully executed, and the selection of coffee and tea drinks is something special. Will be back soon to try the full breakfast menu!

Wow! We woke up in the mood to find some delicious pastries on the island - and Coffee at Dawn did not disappoint! We came around 12:00 on a Tuesday and while they didn’t have the full selection of pastries there was still plenty to choose from. We got the blueberry danish and blueberry muffin and both were decadent, moist and satisfying! The danish was a standout for the perfectly thick layer of custard filling. We also ordered and almond milk latte with the house made Tahitian vanilla. The latte came with unique art of a groovy flower on top. The vibes are top tier! We’re very excited to return for full breakfast soon.
